It is really raining outside, a great time to stay inside, and paint the sky what ever colour I want!! That is what I call artistic expression!! ...oh, and I have the artistic license. Tee..hee.
This piece is titled, "Paradise thru Laila's Eyes". Laila was/is my cousin, who passed away June 2015. I loved her dearly. During one of my meditations at the beginning of 2016, I had questions for her. Like how are you feeling, where are you? I wanted to make sure she was in a happy place. Where does your spirit go when your body has expired? These were some of the questions I had for her.
Lucky for me during my meditation she took my hand and we went for a walk on the beach, (her beach in paradise). She showed me her happiness, and I felt the love in my heart. She said she was in a place where she felt such love, joy, happiness, bliss and surrounded by magical beings.
The easiest way for me to show people in my life exactly what she said to me, was to paint it. Make sure you look closely for the magickal beings floating in the sky, mountains and flowers. The meditation lasted for 2 hours!! There was many feelings shared. She was so excited.
I had tears streaming down my face when the meditation was done, but they were tears of happiness, knowing my cousin was in a happy and loving place surrounded by magical beings.
My cousin spirit is "alive" in the mystical world in a very loving place and I am so happy about that!!
Whether this is a true fact or not, it does not matter. For it makes me happy and I know in my heart of hearts that Laila's spirit and energy is always with me.
With all my love,

It seems as I clear more of the skeletons and deal with the "stuff" in my life it comes out in my artwork!!!! As I evolve and grow spiritually and intellectually I enjoy painting more and more!!
When I have no idea what to do next in my life I paint and write in my journal. I have these amazing ideas for new shows, studio gallery spaces.
Big plans for the future. I am very fortunate to have some wonderfully talented people in my circle of friends. They don't know it yet but they are all part of my new vision for a interactive studio Gallery space. I consider them to be my marketing managers. My flock of geese. I like the idea of a the V formation the geese fly in. Everyone takes turns being the leader of the group. Because we are all excellent leaders!
But of course, I am getting off topic, I want to share with you my new style of painting. Each piece I have painted this year has ghost like images in the background. Before I start a piece, I actually think about images in my head, and look for things in nature. I am mostly inspired my nature by the way. I love bright colours and I notice things as I am out walking. As I meditate images come to me of what I feel in pictures. Like the roses, a rose is love. I had the feeling I wanted to share with the world how I felt about the universe and all the wonderful people I am surrounded by on a daily basis. I always listen to music and this piece I was listening to love songs, OF COURSE!!! Like Barry White, Al Green and Frank Sinatra!! I will dance and twirl .... look at my painting in progress and see images that must come out. I high light them so they are visible if you look for them. I sometimes don't know when to put the brush down, because I keep seeing more images. This one has at least 10 so far and I am not quite finished.
Stay tuned... for my next blog when I up load the finished piece. How many angels, dancers, horses, girls, and men can you see?
Artistically yours always,
Hello my art loving friends. It has been a while since I have shared my art life with you. It has been busy and fun.
As you can see by these paintings, my style is evolving becoming more passionate, even more colourful and spiritually connected. While I am painting I am connected to a part of myself that is out of this world. Look closely at my art especially in the background you can see images that are magical.
I really am doing the happy dance while I am painting.
A couple of these paintings are created during live musical performances with Delaney Rose, musician & song writer. I paint live while she sings. The vibration of the music and watercolour art is so much fun!!
Music and art go so well together, art is music and music is art!!!!
When is my next art & music show? I am open to new opportunities. Send me your ideas for music concerts with an artistic flare!!

I love hanging out with artists and people who love art. What a bonus to be exhibiting at The Darts Hill Garden Park. This is my first time at this venue. I heard there is quite a variety of different kind of art displays.
But of course, I will be there, with some new pieces and some favourites from my past. Right now, I am busy getting ready for the show, doing some last minute framing, trying to decide what I will bring. It will be a surprise. I will focus on pieces that make me think of nature and how I look at life.
My art tells a story of my life. I only just realized that the other day, when I looked at my pieces and where I was at when I painted each piece. So come by tomorrow ask me a question about my art, and where I was at in my life when I painted it.
See tomorrow, Saturday, June 20 from 4-8pm at Darts Hill Garden Park at 16 Avenue & 170th Street in South Surrey.
Yes, it is true!!! I am my own best friend. I have been on a road of transformation. Not sure if it is the amount of years I have been on this earth (in this life), or the amount of learning experiences. When I was in the process of painting this, I was having some very vivid dreams, past and present relationships. I think this piece shows, the layers we unfold in our lives. That is why I was having these dreams, of past and future relationships. My joy is deep within, and as long as I continue to be true to myself, and follow my passion, life will be great as it should be.
This painting is reminding us to always be true to ourselves, because we are best friends forever!!

Well life isn't really out of control. I just have a lot going on in my life. I have been thinking about finding a balance. Figuring out how do I fit it all in; a healthy lifestyle, paint, get artworks ready for framing, paint the frames, create descriptions & pricing for each piece. Oh, and organize my work space, so I can fit all the paintings in my little studio/office.
As many of you know, I am also the Art show event planner & owner of Vendel Festival Art Show.
It came to my attention at the last show on April 11, 2015, that the artists in the show followed my instructions & marketing suggestions. They followed the checklists provided. Each one of the displays were very professional. And sales were won at every artist booth.
Then I had a look at my own display, which was quickly put together in the last week, in between last minute preparations for the show. It was then I decided, I would create a routine for myself and do a little bit everyday, or a few times a week. As a bonus and a reward to myself, at the end of the week I throw paint and created a new masterpiece. Then I go for a walk in nature enjoying the beach, the sunshine, and hanging out with my best friend. Now I have balance in my life. I have now managed to fit everything in!! Life is not out of control, I have balance, and I trust that everything in my life is going to work out, and it always does. Just breath and let things happen. I trust and believe that all my passions and dreams will come true... oh, wait minute they are true!!
Life is good.
What are your dreams and passions, how to you find balance in your life??

Vendel Festival Art Show.
I chose these three paintings, because they are all important things to think about and appreciate.
Enjoying life, visiting beautiful place to contemplate life and all its possibilities. We are so lucky here in Beautiful British Columbia, Canada to have so many scenic and awe inspiring places to visit.
Freedom, to express my self through my artwork. Freedom to be passionate about my life, have fun and explore the possibilities.
What do you want? What do I want, What do my friends want. Is a question we all think about. We should be asking, and clarifying constantly and be clear on what we want out of life.
Today I want to share these paintings with my friends. Perhaps, one of these paintings inspires you to explore our province, perhaps one of these pieces helps you to realize you have the freedom to do what ever you want in your life. You just have to be clear and ask for what you really want.
You ask what do I really want? I want to be an international leader in the art world, exhibiting & promoting artists around the world in settings that are as beautiful as the art on display.
And I want to sell my art!!!! So click on one of these paintings. It could be on display in your home today!!
Just saying...... What I really want. :)
